KT Rae Kreations Photography

Every since I was a kid, I loved taking pictures. My first camera was a twin lens reflex camera that used 120 film. I picked it up at a local garage sale for a quarter when I was 7 or 8 years old.

I used that camera to take hundreds of pictures, most of which have been lost over the years. Someday, I may find some of them going through my parents scrapbooks.

Over the years, I have owned a Rollieflex, a cheap pentax 35mm, a Kodak 110, a Kodak Disk, a Kodak Advantix, a Pentax k1000, a Nikon N40, a Kodak Easyshare C340, a 6mp Fugi Finepix DSLR, a Nikon Coolpix, and a Kodak Easyshare V803.

As a general rule, a camera will last forever as long as it is handled properly. Unfortunately, I haven’t always handled my cameras properly! Out of all the cameras I’ve owned, I still have the V803, the Finepix and the N40. My ex-husband had custody of the k1000.

The image above was taken with the Kodak C340 at Bluewater Dam Lake in New Mexico.  I have always had a special talent for stumbling on moving images in our environment. I don’t really ever know I’ve done it until the prints are developed!

There are more like this to come, so check back in a few days…..

Back Again

I know it’s been more than a few days, but I’ve been busy with other things going on in life. I am going to make a better effort to get back here and add things weekly.

This Page gets a whole lot of spam. To help me determine if the comments you people make are spam, I am only going to read the first few words. The first few words must be, “Hello from ________.” You are to insert the country in which your link resides in the blank. If your link is not in American English, it does not reside in the US. When I look at or click your link, I must be able to tell it is actually in that language. If your syntax for the language is wrong, I will call it spam. When you are trying to get your link out there on the net, having them marked as spam is a mark against you in the search engines. Also, just to be sure, I delete the spam comments several times a day. Happy commenting.

  1. I really appreciate this post. You’ve made my day! Thx again! “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” by Friedrich Nietzsche.

r u sure that is true?

    • KT Rae says:

Yes, I am sure that it is the way history is written. Truth is in the eye of the beholder.

By the way, I removed your scam link. The link you tried to put on my site was to a group that takes all your information, then starts to call you and say you missed payments and you are going to jail if you don’t cough up stupid amounts of money to them. They are criminals, and when they are caught, they will go to jail. If I can help, you will also go to jail as accomplice. We aren’t all stupid, asshole!

I am only possibly not certain that whether its the right site to ask, but there are no spam comments. I receive comments seven days a week. Are you going to you help me? Cheers!

When I respond to people, it’s to email address given. I responded to your last post via email. This is a different email address… This leaves me to believe that you have spammed me. Guess some spam does get through…

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service? Many thanks!

    • KT Rae says:

Thank you for pointing out this awesome feature. I don’t know how to remove this option, nor would I be inclined to remove it if I could figure out how. I get as many as 200 spam comments a day on this post alone. If even a portion of you guys get bombarded with emails because you posted irrelevant comments just to be able to post your link here, I see that as justice. My time is as valuable to me as yours is to you. I am happy to know that my system is wasting your time as you have wasted mine.

  6. KT Rae says:

I was asked if I would disable the feature that allows a commenter to “follow” the comments posted on my site. Apparently, the system notifies followers, via email, of every single comment posted. I suppose, that could get annoying.

    BUT,

Not a chance. You spam my comment board with non-working links, then ask to be notified about comments. I wouldn’t want to try to interfere with KARMA or the law of 3 fold return, or even do unto others as you would have them do to you. The choices we make in life have natural consequences. Something, I believe, should be learned early in life as it helps us not make grievous mistakes.

Yeah, bookmaking this wasn’t a risky conclusion. Great post! .
